今天做大全727

遇到一个选项

1. The demand for airplane mechanics is expected to grow about ten percent a year in the next decade, largely because new federal rules calling for major modifications to older planes and because the airlines are adding hundreds of new jets.

(A) new federal rules calling for major modifications to older planes

(B) new federal rules, which call for major modifications to older planes

(D) major modifications to older planes called for by new federal rules（C）

(E) major modifications to older planes are called for
according to new federal rules

E选项读着很不顺感觉把according to换成by 应该就可以了

但是想问问大家according to 在这里为什么错啊

new federal rules是动词的执行者，不能用according to接。E换成by也不会选它，因为没必要用被动

和because的意思重复，所以不用

不过偶的问题是according to到底能不能用被动啊

抛开这道题而言

曾几何时不知道听哪位大侠说过

但我不记得具体的原因了

所以在这里特向大家求证
