significantly different, 显著的不同 由于后面有manifested by people from different cultures, 推断句意应该是 ：来自不同文化的人们所显示的mental processes极少有显著的不同。
而significant differences, 重要的区别。 little of significant differences，极少有重要的区别，言下之意，就是可能有不太重要的区别（而这个区别也可以很显著）。Thus, this structure distorts the meaning of sentense.
然后再考虑，little的用法：
little as a quantifier: little of sth , 首先是一个单数概念（相应verb form用单数），其次这个sth.要么是uncountable noun,要么是一个amount。 例如：
Little of the existing housing is of good enough quality...
现有的住房几乎少有质量过关的。
They claim that little of the $16.5 million dollars in aid sent by the US government has reached them.

有一点不同意见：
类比句子: There are three apples on the table. 中文翻译应该强调在桌子上“有”三个苹果。there are是倒装句型，正过来是Three apples are on the table.
选项D的句子正过来是：Little (that is significantly different) is IN the underlying mental processes manifested by people from different cultures. 在来自不同文化背景的人所表现的潜在心理过程中“没有”什么显著地不同。
