OG12--语法88题

Thelonious Monk,who was a jazz pianist and composer,produced a body of work both rooted in the stride-piano tradition of Willie Smith and Duke Ellington,yet in many ways he stood apart from the mainstream jazz repertory.

从这道题感觉GMAT出题越来越阴险了~首先是一贯的偏爱BOTH AND搭配搞TRICK,其次是一贯偏爱的同位语结构变成了wordiness and unnecessary grammatically complexity.哎脾气变的不少。

大家有什么好的看法或者其它题目相关的想法没有哈~欢迎讨论哦！

同问，不太明白为什么说同位语wordiness.

both...and...前后不对称啊。 in the stride-piano tradition of Willie Smith and Duke Ellington 这是一个整体。

不明白，both...and...怎么抽筋了？

所以both应该放在the stride-piano...的前面么

逻辑为王！这题当发现both...and这个组合是错误的时候，马上考虑到换其他说法。类似题有not only...but also一道。其中题目意思是转折，而非递进。宣判not only...but also死亡。
