标题: 昆士兰理工大学（QUT）的MBA值得读吗？ [打印本页]

标题: 昆士兰理工大学（QUT）的MBA值得读吗？
今天收到澳洲昆士兰理工大学MBA的OFFER，入学时间7月初，学校用PDF格式邮件给我OFFER，估计是考虑到时间紧迫的原因。

QUT的商学院在最新的排名中首次进入了全球前100名，但该校总体较弱，在澳洲排名较后，请问有没申请澳洲的XDJM，或者了解澳洲情况的，这个学校值得去读吗？俺还没考IELTS，时间很紧，而且澳洲签证程序复杂，7月估计赶不上。

俺已经拿到英国伯明翰的MBA的OFFER和UMIST、LEEDS、BIRMINGHAM等英国学校PROJECT MANAGEMENT 专业的MASTER OFFER，都不知道该怎么选择。

本人基本情况：工作经历12年，从事国际工程承包，项目管理经验较为丰富。请各位热情提供参考意见。

I suggest that BIRMINGHAM is the best choice unless you wanna imgrate to Australia or QUT promise to give you scholarship.

I think that you should choose a school with high reputation if you wanna come back.

I studied in the University of Queensland (UQ) between 1998 and 1999. At that time, my school was much better than QUT. QUT is at the City and is a small university. It reputation is not as high as that of UQ in the heart of Australians. I was surprised to know the rank of QUT.

I am afriad that MBA of QUT is not really useful. (from my heart). Why not take IELTS now? It is not easy to get 6.5

Birmingham U. is the best choice. Take this.

I think it depends. If you want come back to your current industry, the master of project management is better for you. Personally I perfer Leeds.

If you want to broaden your eye reach and enrich your professional business knowledge, MBA is a wise choice. I think Birmingham is better.

BTW, one of my colleague finished his MBA study in Birmingham, he said it is a very nice school.

希望以后能超出现在的建筑行业，即使项目管理，也希望从事工业或商业项目管理。

伯明翰的MBA OFFER马上到期了，MBA or Project Management? Please provide more opinion, XDJM.

Based on what you said, you want a career change, so I think MBA is better for you. So why not come to UK?

本月初定了去读伯明翰的MBA，其在英国商科排名较后（第18），心里有点不太爽。但好象说学校综合排名还算好，国际名声不错。

今天收到QUT Brisbane Graduate School of Business的MBA奖学金，但只有学费的1/4。需不需要考虑？俺属于穷人，读伯明翰就已经一贫如洗了。去澳洲总体费用本来就要比英国低一些。实在让人费心！

I think there is no big difference. If you choose Birmingham, 300K RMB will be enough. So why not come to UK? Au remind me of the ranch. ~~If you don't want to be a cowboy, UK is better for you!
