为什么选A呢，我选的是E

by +时间，谓语一般用完成时态。作为并列句，A结构对称。E中动词时态用错，且suffer和did时态也不一致。

为什么不能选D呢

A句子平行，分号后面的是一个独立的主谓结构的句子，只是把of介词提前，如果不提前更加平行了

D是时态不对。应该用过去时态。

想问A项的时态问题:

是不是凡是by+(某个时间点),都应该用完成时? 如果这个时间点是过去的某个时间, 就用过去完成时?
