在这里还是想问关于定语从句和-ing分词短语之间的区别，我一下的解题思路对么:

我不太清楚E项的-ing结构是做状语，做状语肯定是错的因为句末-ing分词结构：

1：做伴随状语，其逻辑主语是其修饰动作的主语

2：做结果状语：其逻辑主语是前面的整个句子，这时不能用which/it/this/that来指代整个前句

状语从句是修饰动作的，在这到题中establishing前面没有动词可以修饰，所以就不能做伴随状语，更不可能是结果状语，那么肯定不是作状语

那么作定语有什么错呢？？？？感觉-ing作定语很对啊!

相应的还有另外一道：

Wisconsin, Illinois, Florida, and Minnesota have begun to enforce statewide bans prohibiting landfills to accept leaves, brush, and grass clippings.

(A) prohibiting landfills to accept leaves, brush, and grass clippings

(B) prohibiting that landfills accept leaves, brush, and grass clippings

(D) that leaves, brush, and grass clippings cannot be accepted in landfills

(E) that landfills cannot accept leaves, brush, and grass clippings

C是正确答案，而这里的prohibiting是修饰begun这个动作作伴随状语的对么，其逻辑主语就等与begun的主语？

还是prohibiting是做定语修饰bans？那么-ing何时作定语何时作状语，有什么标志么？名词之后有逗号（就如上一题），-ing就不能做定语对么？如果是名词和-ing之间是紧密联系的没有逗号就是作定语么？

还是？

碰到太多这样的题了实在搞不清楚！

上面帖子是现在分词的整理，仔细看看

一般来说“，doing”是作状语的（有逗号），而“N+doing”为定语。

当然还有例外

(A) who established a mosque in the building and used the Acropolis as

(B) who, establishing a mosque in the building, used the Acropolis like

(D) who had established a mosque in the building, using the Acropolis to be 正确答案是A

(E) establishing a mosque in the building and using the Acropolis as

A选项定语从句修饰人，作定语精准

关于E选项，既然他又能作状语，又能做定语，那就是有歧义，不要选

关于“，doing” 作定语，说实话见得真是很少，所以...

那么请问这句，having是做定语还是状语啊？

在这里回复给自己理顺一遍，最后的问题中HAVING是做定语的，这个成分位于句子中间，隔开了主句的主语和谓语，状语一般是不处于这个位置的，只有定语可以。
