标题: Offer from Tulane.
Got admitted by the Master in Finance program at Tulane University.

Not very familiar with this university. Anybody can provide some valuable information?

TULANE,曾被誉为“昏昏欲睡”的商校。排名在50上下，应该和匹兹堡大学商学院排名类似。前几年因聘请一个新的院长，锐意改革，取得了一定成绩。但最后似乎又回归老样子。总之，是一所一般的商学院。

呵呵，说话比较直，别介意。

Actually right now i am stuck between the choice of UK or States. I got admitted by the MIF program at LBS and Cambridge, but the tuition would be a problem. Tulance may provide some financial aids, so i didn't know how to choose.

还是去LBS吧, 我的朋友TULANE的化学PHD. 他报MBA时根本没有考虑TULANE.虽然新奥尔良生活还说得过去.

LBS 要求的保证金不低, 你不能保证美国签证的情况下, 怎么可能放弃LBS? 万一据了呢? 即使拿到美国签证, 你也要损失几千英镑. 如果你有经济困难, 这不是雪上加霜吗?

就是估计4.10前要给lbs钱，等可以申请美国签证的时候，已经交给lbs一定保证金了。所以如果不去，保证金就不退还了。。。。。。。：（

学校真黑啊。不过说起来，美国还是比较容易找工作。所以能去美国还是不错的。location advantage.

If you are made an offer of a place on the Programme, the initial payment is a ‘Commitment Fee'. If you choose to accept your offer, this payment reserves your place on the class. This is normally due 3-4 weeks after receiving your offer letter. This fee is deducted from your total fees. The second payment is the Reservation Fee which is made in June before the class begins in September. All deadlines are subject to change on an annual basis.
