Once the economic and social usefulness of the motor car was demonstrated and with its superiority to the horse being proved,much of the early hostility to it in rural regions disappeared.

b.and its superiority over the horse had been

c.and its superiority to the horse

我选c．因为根据并列原则，b项的had been是过去完成时

与前半句的时态不同，因为我认为是错误的

但答案选b，它说c项and 连接once 从句和名词短语its superiority,两者形式不对称.这是为什么?我认为 and its superiority to the horse(was)proved应该是因并列而省略吧

请高手指点

个人意见哈～

根据固定搭配和习惯用语来看 superiority over/in；superior to

不会用superiority to

所以从这个角度来说B比C好

再根据解释上说 B是说的通的

平行并列不一定要完全的对称才叫平行意思以及在句中的作用相同比如共同作为某事发生的条件也可以是平行结构

不同时态也可以并列，只要有明显的时间提示词或者理由说明。这个OG上也有例子哈。

b选项，用过去完成时的理由就是这个动作发生在前半句was demonstrate之前，过去的过去。

c选项并列的是句子和短语。从gamc偏好来说，c的错误更优先。

另外，也同意LS的，从搭配来说的偏好。

所以选b。。以上属个人意见哈~~~~

C可以理解为once引导的a和b并列吧，冉艾米米

我怎么觉得c就是搭配上的问题啊

有谁可以解释么

一个问题并列句,be动词可以省略吗?或是在什么条件下可以省略?
