我想问“，and”后面是不是一定加主谓完整的句子？

除了n,n,and n或者v,v,and v这种情况。

"，and"后面，一定是加完整的句子。

And 是连词。“,and” 由于前面存在 "," 且这里只有2个成分，后面必须加主谓结果，如果同主语，则"," 去掉。

actually 这个句子最大毛病是后面的句子明显意思是对Univ 的补充，只能用D.

A选项，是supporting在句尾做状语，修饰DENOUNCE，表示动作的同时进行，那这里的at the same time，难道没有语义重复的问题吗？

还有当分词ING形式做状语时，前面可以加while这种连词吗？

我这样理解对吗？

while here is making contrast ( 对比）, not "at the same time", so not 重复

while 是引导从句的连词(subordinators)，而不是连接句子成分的连词(and,but 等）

是有区别的，不能随便推广。

补充 WHILE 除了引导从句外，当主从句主语一样时，可以直接加 doing

哪些是连接句子的连词，哪些是连接从句的连词呢？

我仿佛从来没有意识到过，连词还有连接句子的连词和连接从句的连词的区别。

我看到prep1 97对 WHILE+DOING的解释，上面说：

while引导从句时,如主从句的主语一致,且从句谓语又含有be,则从句主语和be可省略。while后可直接跟现在分词、名词、形容词或介词短语。

请问到底是，主句主语一致时，while后就可以+doing

还是要主句主语一致，且位于动词为BE时呢？

good questions.

In my opinion, as long as the subjects are same, "while doing" is acceptable. Of course, the Verb needs to have -ing form, meaning that it can last for a period of time.
