真够复杂的。我选B。A,D,E主要是they指代不清。不知道是2个women还是others.

斜体的修饰others, 所以是allow to do.

others of the Roosevelt brain trust 我猜应该翻译为 Roosevelt 所信任的其他人。

排除A还是因为它很复杂不简洁吗？

A. to take credit for the genesis of historic programs in public employment, relief, and social security that were in large measure what they had been responsible for (that只能就近修饰，引导限定句，这里只能修饰secuity,谓语动词were错,they指代也不对)

B.to take credit for the genesis of historic programs in public employment, relief, and social security for which the two women were in large measure responsible (for 是resposible for提前)

so i chose B, open to discussion...
