63. Some good cooks are gourmet cooks who pride themselves on always using extravagantly rich ingredients in elaborate recipes. Some good cooks can be characterized as fast-food cooks. They may use rich ingredients as long as the recipes are easy to follow and take little time. Other good cooks are health food enthusiasts, who are concerned primarily with the nutritional value of food. But even though not all good cooks are big eaters, they all enjoy preparing and serving food.

If the information in the passage is true, which one of the following CANNOT be true?

(A) Most good cooks do not use extravagantly rich ingredients.

(B) Everyone who enjoys preparing and serving food is a good cook.

(C) More good cooks who use extravagantly rich ingredients are big eaters than are good cooks who do not use such ingredients.

答案是D 论最优来说没话讲就是D 跟题干意思明显冲突可是：

B选项费费解释里面说从结论推出我是怎么都推不出来结论是

E选项结论明明说 not all good cooks are big eaters 啊怎么可以说这三种cooks are all big eaters

题目说得是不可能正确的哦，但是B有可能正确哦。任何喜欢preparing and serving food的人是一个好厨师，这是可能存在的。the last sentence said that" even though not all good cooks are big eaters“，就是没有否定some good cooks are big eaters,所以E也是正确的。我是这么理解的。

这道题您不理解的原因还是在于Cannot be true

B选项，在enjoys preparing and serving food 和 good cook这两个因素互为充分必要条件的时候，是可以成立的。

题干中给出的逻辑关系是 if good cook(用条件a表示)则enjoys preparing and serving(条件b)

选项B的意思是b能推出a，也就是b是a的充分条件。

如果你选择选项B，即你认为选项B Cannot be true，则意味着: B推出A一点可能性都没有，所以选项B的意思实际上就是b推出非a。那么就是a推出非b。

题干中给的是a推出b,所以说明你做的这个选择和题中给出的信息矛盾。以上是抽象的分析了一下

其实简单想啊，a能推出b,不一定意味着b推理不出a。只要两着互为充要条件就好了。

再简单说一点，就是题中没有明确说明有些enjoys preparing and serving 的人不是个好厨师。所以everyone enjoys preparing and serving全都是好厨师，在某种特定条件下是可以成立的。当然这个时候要求互为充要: enjoys preparing and serving的人全都是好厨师，并且好厨师全都是enjoys的人。

反正把事情想简单就好，我说的复杂其实很简单的

哦我明白了是不是 B E是原文题干没有明显否定的可能ture也可能faulse

而D是直接和原文冲突的因而选择B

“E选项结论明明说 not all good cooks are big eaters 啊怎么可以说这三种cooks are all big eaters”。我的理解是，题目举的这三种cooks并不代表就是all good cooks吧。

楼上的，你对E选项的理解有错误。E选项用了一个限制性定语丛句，是说 Gourmet cooks, fast-food cooks, and cooks who are health food enthusi asts are all big eaters 就是说这三种cooks中的一部分，即（who are health food enthusi asts are all big eaters）的这一部分是big eater。而不是说这三种cooks是big eater。建议看一下限制性定从与非限制定从在表义上的区别

good cooks的确就是那三种，之所以E没错，是因为原文中最后一句有个限定词啊 even though，“即使”不是所有的blabla……，他没有明确说不是所有的都是big eater，也没有说所有的都是big eater，这里你什么都推不出来，所以E这句是没错的，你不能说他cannot be true

who如果只修饰and后面的cooks，前面的两个cooks的谓语哪里去了啊

关键在与这两句的区别，一个是从左说到右，一个是从右说到左，但是题目是让你根据他提供的info来推导，你从they all enjoy preparing and serving food. 推不出everyone是否blabla……所以这个选项不对也不错，只是在干扰你而已
