我感觉一般这么长的题目，代词可以是个入手点。

E, their的指代不清楚，恩， 应该说已经歧义了，因为主句的主语，这里也是最近的名词，是car owner，car owner如何提高自己的fuel efficiency？


另外， up to five percent of a car’s fuel 后面是不是也应该用单数？


个人经验， 对长的选项， 对比选项中不一致的地方可以较快的入手。

看结构，B的结构最让人舒服。主谓宾的顺序一致。

多谢几位，很清楚了。总结几位发言如下-


解题思路：根据指代问题（pronoun), verb-subject agree问题，以及被动结构问题，迅速排除C,D,E


比较A和B, A"cause -effect不清楚。应该是underinflation can waste up to ...."


而B结构清晰，Because underflation can....., can owners can .... by inflating...


感觉句子的意思真的很重要，考试的时候如果碰到这样的题目，不知道是不是会在A和B中选对。

XDF和以前的G友对此题的解题思路多是以因果的顺序为主，即应该是先因后果。但我觉得这个方法用来快速narrow the range是可以的，但不能作为唯一的依据。我们注意到OG对每一题的解释往往有多处考点。我想题目中一定还有其他的错误。

比如：the increase in car-road friction can waste up to five percent of car fuel by underinflation.

请问the increase in car-road friction 的中心词是increase还是friction？

如果是increase，那increase能不能waste fuel? 谢谢。
