import either grain or meat or both.

感觉是B。
条件是比例的问题，结论是数量的问题。所以经过换算，只有人口不变，才有这个结论。如果人口减少，就不会有这个结论了。

这不是OG11最前面那个综合测试里面的题么，答案是E啊，如果谷物的消耗量radically decrease的话，就可以用谷物produce肉了吧。。

A,B,E都有一定的道理。关键是哪一个最直接，最切近问题的实质。

思路：

原文讨论的是consumption of meat and grain. 问题又提到了“grain production will not increase”，已经提示了答案应该提到grain和meat之间的关系。

其他的选项total acreage， The population of Gortland 就是无关选项。
