另外问一下derive的用法，我查字典好像A derives from B 和A is derived from B都是A源于B的意思，然后某一道题里出现了
。。。A（被修饰语，单数名词） from which derive both… and … （软件关了就没记住题>_<)
这样的情况，而且derive的单复型是考点……这里不应该是derives么？真心求教~~~
我自己认为 what they had not previously considered possible—better control, if not eradication, of the other infections such as measles and yaws. 其中的what个关系代词 在从句中做成分的 但是该选项中的what 在从句中又是什么成分呢？所以我认为它是个错误选项
其实我也很为what从句纠结。。。

first of all, what introduce a noun clause; look carefully at this sentence so that you can find it's not such kind a clause.
想来想去觉得这题不是what和something这个考点，应该是这个考点：A such as B不如such A as B表达意思清楚。
不是牛牛，这里说下我的看法~
what做considered 的宾语，还原为they had not previously considered（what）possible
第一题，用名词something比 ｗhat从句更简洁。
第二题，你的选项没用虚拟语气。
第三题， 一般不用unquilifying 这个形式，都用unqualified.而且consistent 和consistently 意思不同。 consistent 符合的，持续的，一致的，连贯的。 而consistently 一 直地 （查的牛津高阶）。consistently修饰动词receive，而consistent 修饰名词support,也改变了句意。
derive问题 from which derive both… and … 这是倒装句型。主语是表复数概念的both ..and...
第一题最主要的错误在the other 应该用other
第二题 demand that （should）gmat中必须省略 +动词原形
关于derive的那题 我大概记得 说某帝国把某种文字带到它的占领地，然后both xx和yy都是起源于这种文字的
A（被修饰语，单数名词） from which derive both… and 意思是说both 。。and。。起源于A 谓语当然用复数 你不要理解反了

what引导的名字性从句中 what在从句中充当宾语 比如 what you say， what you have seen
这题中也一样 在从句中 they是主语 consider是谓语 what是宾语 possible是宾语补足语
