Press Secretary: Our critics claim that the President’s recent highway project cancellations demonstrate a vindictive desire to punish legislative districts controlled by opposition parties. They offer as evidence the fact that 90 percent of the projects canceled were in such districts. But all of the canceled projects had been identified as wasteful in a report written by respected nonpartisan auditors. So the President’s choice was clearly motivated by sound budgetary policy, not partisan politics.

看了之前的讨论贴，还是有一点没明白：

把B取非：被认为是浪费的高速公路项目大部分是都在执政党的管辖范围内。那么总统连自己管辖的项目都要取消，自然是以预算为考虑，而不是党派斗争了。这个不是取非加强了么？

请NN指教，这个逻辑错在哪里啊？？谢谢~

d选项，取非，大家认为浪费的但是还建的项目基本上都是在执政党的管辖区域内

就是说cancel的都是在反对党的管辖区域，说明，就是在搞党争。weaken

假设：not+weaken

你好，個人淺見

此題應該是一個斷橋型的assumption題

原題中可以得出:

1.90% of the projects canceled -> projects in districts controlled by opposition parties

2.90% of the projects canceled -> identified wasteful

1+2) 假設應為wasteful projects應該都位在opposition party districts

看B)The scheduled highway projects identified as wasteful in the report were not mostly projects in districts controlled by the President’s party.意即浪費的projects都不位於執政黨的districts(那就是說浪費的projects都在在野黨的districts裡了)-->選B
