has begun>the begining 动词优于名词

they 指代不明，前面有不只一个复数名词，而且理论上是优先指代主句主语economists的

there is 很不优选的结构，很少选

E，重心改变

A. a cycle has begun in which personal computer users 简洁准确

B. a cycle for personal computer users has begun in which they ，代词they的指代不明确，语法上指代主句复数动词，逻辑指代users，错误。即便是指代users，也显得罗嗦，

C. there is a cycle beginning for personal computer users 动词优于动名词，there is不是优选结构

D. it is the beginning of a cycle for personal computer users 动词优于动名词

E. personal computer users are in the beginning of a cycle when they 改变句子重心，动词优于动名词

如果是a cycle，非限定性定语从句不应该跟在a cycle后面吗？

同问B为什么不对，我觉得还是要从意思上理解，in which they，they就近指代第一复数名词users没有什么错误吧

但是a cycle for personal computer users ,和前文的意思联合理解the recent increase in earnings ， a cycle应该是指更换电脑的cycle而不是personal computer users 的cycle ?

研究了北美的讨论贴，貌似说in which在这里做when解释，那A就完美了

B没有错只是相对于A来说不太好~~~
由于语法知识总是有限的所以只能通过注意选项之间的比较
A: cycle in which personal computer users~~~~has begun......
B. a cycle for personal computer users in which they~~~~~~~has begun
B用了一个for结构然后后面用代词指代出来显然这样比较wordy

我想B, E可以先排除掉的,注意观察到划线后面说 especially corporate consumers, 前面最好有个明确的名词来对应说的就是computer users 中的那些 corporate consumers

CD先排除，后面有are relacing,这两个选项明显会造成多个主谓
B 排除，这个cycle是这些人更换的电脑的周期，而不是人的周期，换的是电脑不是人
E 排除，in the beginning of a cycle when they,这种结构中，when是作为“the beginning of a cycle ”的定语，而意思上，when后面的内容应该是cycle的定语

A明显最好，因为予以上说，这样可以表示该事件对现在的影响。也就是“已经进入这个周期”
一般现在时强调的是动作的持续，是一直发生的事情。

同时，我个人认为所谓的优选结构，是可信度最低的判断，不到万不得已，建议别用

恩，B有指代歧义的they前面还有companies, economists ，they都可以指代。而且especially corporate consumers做personal computer users的同位语比做不明不白的they的同位语要好

同意这个~OG有个题是，consumption of alcohol,and particularly of red wine…。
错误选项有个是alcohol consumption,particularly red wine.---without the preposition 'of',the sentence indicates that red wine is a kind of consumption,which makes no sense.
所以‘，’后面的名词应该跟前面的名词为同一概念，B就排除掉了

我是这样想的：

注意这里的are replacing, 这是没画线的部分，前面一定要有主语。往前看发现了especially corporate consumers, 这是插入语，根据句意前面肯定还有一个什么什么users是真正的主语，此时可排除BE.

C：there is 和 beginning for读起来很别扭，there is结构在GMAT中不优选，不能做are replacing的主语，排除。

D: it is the beginning of 读起来拗口结构也很奇怪，不能做are replacing的主语，排除。

那就只剩A了。
