Although snow geese are a popular quarry for hunters in the southern regions where they winter, the hunting season ends if and when hunting has reduced the population by five percent, according to official estimates. Clearly, dropping（停止） this restriction would allow the other species to recover.

答案是B，不太明白为什么。既然好几年都提前结束了打猎期，那么今年如果取消这种限制就有可能造成snow geese数量大幅减少，也就可以保护其他鸟类了阿，感觉B应该是support阿。。。请NN帮忙分析一下！

我觉得只能这样理解

B. It has been many years since the restriction led to the hunting season for snow geese being closed earlier than the scheduled date.

禁令存在多年了，而sg的激增只是近年来的事说明禁令不是sg数量激增的原因可能是其它原因导致sg的数量增长因此取消禁令也许没什么用

我也觉得B不是个好答案但ACDE没有比这更好只好选B

oh,my god,实战的时候希望没有这么推理的题，真的很摸不着头脑。。。
