正确的选项是B，我选择的是A,其实我觉得A和B似乎都不对等，主句的主语应该是和grassy field 及old pastures对称才对啊，怎么是bird和它们对称呢，逻辑上似乎不对呀....

请NN指教

A的那个鸟用了复数。。。原句中 the upland sandpiper needs，鸟是单数。。。

注意单复数也要对称

B的itself就可以推出是类比了否则itself就罗嗦了

A即使主谓一致也仍旧是逻辑错误

哈哈~我做这题的时候也错了，开始怎么也想不通怎么对等的

这句话又引起了我对 to do 和 for doing 的疑问

随着GWD 和 prep 里面很多的用for 表目的的句子出现……真有点弄糊涂了……

is不是问题，因为主语应该是 the sandpipers vanishing 主要问题还是比较对象不对等吧。

我没有把这个题想得很复杂。就是简单的like比较问题。出了B其他的都无法比较。一家之言而已。

这样就不对等了呀？

这里是比较对象不对等的问题没有其他大问题

这题比较的很特殊是不完全对等比较

是拿草原（的消失）和鸟（消失）比

like后注意接的是个名词，后面是都是修饰成分，所以整个都看成是名词在比较

所以主句主语必须也是名词，除了B其他选项都是鸟消失ing不是名词了

记得Manhattan上面讲的是introduce similarity between two items or persons，所以只要有相似的地方就可以了
