标题: OG12-30 现在分词开头的状语从句修饰主句宾语？？

OG 12 如题：

(B) as a method protecting

(C) protecting

(E) to protect

 

答案自然是C，但是OG的官方解释是说：现在分词开头的状语从句修饰主句的Item，那岂不是说状语从句的逻辑主语可以不与主句一致么？？

请各位牛牛解惑。

，doing作定语修饰','前紧邻的<n>短语的中心词：... A of B, doing, doing修饰A

，doing也能做状语修饰谓语动词，但这句话的主语的谓语动词是is, 所以, doing修饰没有作状语的歧义
