最后的分歧点在A 和C之间，distinguishes between A and B; distinguishes A from B 这两种用法应该都是对的，但是没有选A是因为 mood swings, which may be violent without their being grounded ……这里多了一个their，我只是觉得读得不顺口，有哪位高人指点一下，告诉我语法点的出处吧，不甚感激！！！！

大牛指正，without being grounded in mental disease 是介词短语做状语吧，their是多余的。

from google:

Distinguish A FROM B is used for different things, e.g. "I can distinguish apples from oranges" or "I can distinguish painting from photograph",
whereas Distinguish BETWEEN A AND B is used for alike things, e.g. "I can distinguish between green apples and red apples" or "I can distinguish between early paintings of DaVinci and his latest pictures"

个人觉得OG上说distinguish from 不对就记住吧。：）

其实2楼说的没有问题，精神病和情绪波动其实是一类的东西，区分只能用between...and
