A的确很怪，但对于全句划线的题目我多采用排除法。
本题首先排除C，E，因为出现了being这个词，只有在perp+being+passive是being才是有效的，抛开这个不说，C的With charcoal’s being replaced by表达也很有问题，完全可以用With charcoal replaced by....表达啊，独立主格。E就不说了，wich摆在那

B：ETS并不认为due to能代替because， 而且表达也不好
不认为A好..但相比之下选了A
选项A无论从逻辑含义还是句子结构都是最好的。
