标题: 一道在magic test上发现的题，疑惑

(B) they originally seem to
(C) they seemingly would cost originally

(E) it originally seemed they would

以前好像也在那里做过，可能GWD吧，一时找不到啊！

觉得结构很奇怪，就发上来跟大家请教一下！！！！！答案是E，why？像A B都错哪了？？是比较对象不对等的问题吗？但按照比较之庖丁解牛上的说法，这里是主谓结构啊！不补出谓语，比较也OK啊！好像不会有歧义吧？？？

哪位给讲讲啊！我觉得比较的问题一直是我的痛，看了庖丁解牛，以为自己可算了掌握了，做987，题题中招！但好像在新题里，情况有变？？我为今能总结的只有：比较是effectiveness的问题，不到万不得已，不能用来作为判断依据。。。。。

KAPLAN2001模拟测试第二套中一题:

Researchers are studying plastics that dissolve at different rates, and they are finding that the so-called 'quick disintegration' plastics are taking more time to deteriorate than they originally seemed.

c) it seemed that they would originally

d) it originally seemed

e) it originally seemed they would

这题答案是E 解释The tricky part here is choosing between 'they' and 'it'. 'They' would imply that the plastics themselves first seemed to do one thing, and then ended up duoing something else. The expletive 'it' - the pronoun that has no particular antecedent - makes more sense; it suggests simply that initial indications turned out to be misleading. Using 'it', it's necessary to include the phrase 'they would', to make it clear what seemed to be the case.

KAPLAN题中they originally seemed似乎只能省略to deteriorate，但这样意思表达不对。

E中补全plastics are taking more time to deteriorate than it originally seemed they would take (time) to deteriorat

it seemed that的that可省。

大全305的A补全they originally seemed to cost, seemed的省略似乎没问题，只是they originally seemed to cost好像没有it originally seemed they would cost的意思表达的好。

楼上的同学太强大了！！看来SC的工作是做得够细的！

没想到，KAPLAN也有类似题目，可见这道题够恶心！让我直接怀疑它的实战价值！

但我还是不太理解！能否解释的更透彻一些？？谢谢啦！！
