Although energy prices have tripled in the United States over the last two years, research indicates few people to have significantly reduced the amount of driving they do, nor are they making fuel efficiency a priority when shopping for cars.

that few people have significantly reduced the amount of driving they do or made 这里选择E没有疑议，但是为什么使用的是or 呢？都说否定词后面的并列应当使用or。但是xdf老师明确说过否定词只有no 和not。但是这里为什么还要使用Or?是不是近几年，出题机构的思路调整了？请教大牛指点！这种类型的few,little之类含有否定意义的词后面用Or 并列的情况是绝对的吗？多谢！

我个人感觉：

对or的用法不是绝对，在这里可以明显看到前后动词的并列选项

排除法：indicate后需要加that，排除掉AB

C选项having...直接排除

D和E的比较中，E平行且清晰

多谢，这道题做出来倒是不难正如你所说，主要我就觉得OR 和 AND的用法太诡异了

并不是只能否定能用or,也并不是肯定都要用and的。你学过数学相信你也能理解吧。 a or B的话是并集而 A and B的话则是2个的交集。

few people do A or B. 很少有人在 A和B的并集里

不同的意思。

放到这题目里面就是

few people have significantly reduced the amount of driving they do or made fuel efficiency a priority when shopping for cars.

这里有2件事情，一个是减少驾驶量，另外一个是挑选节能型车。

题目的愿意是很少有人能做到这2件事中的任何一件。

变成and的话，意思就变成很少有人能同时做到这2件事。

不知道这样讲你能不能理解。XDF的东西critical地对待。绝对的。
