1. A中的On earth应该修饰indications,放在句首修饰整个句子，不合逻辑。请问为什么不合逻辑呢?

2. 未划线部分的as seen ...要修饰紧邻的名词，那在正确答案E中它是修饰tree 还是rate，不过感觉两者都说不通阿

1.on earth 限制了整句话,可以这么想，作者是想说只在地球上(而不是火星)，indication are believed to be ... 还是在地球上的indications 如何如何，应该是后者吧 On earth是修饰indication的

2应该是修饰rate 从ring中能看出the rate at which trees grow

是主语rate吧，逻辑上应该是的。
