(B) that some Blacks return to the African land symbolizing the possibility of freedom to him

(D) some Black’s returning to Africa which was the land that to him symbolized the possibility of freedom（A）

(E) some Black’s return to the land symbolizing the possibility of freedom to him, Africa

这里为什么选A呢？

A) that some Blacks return to Africa, the land that, to him, symbolized the possibility of freedom

the land作Africa的同位语，to him作插入成分。

(B) that some Blacks return to the African land symbolizing the possibility of freedom to him

(D) some Black’s returning to Africa which was the land that to him symbolized the possibility of freedom（A）

(E) some Black’s return to the land symbolizing the possibility of freedom to him, Africa

D，E没有that肯定不对，C中的which指代错误。B选项觉得较难排除。个人猜测African land不是抽象名词（但A中的land可以表达这层意思），后面接symbolizing the possibility of freedom 可能欠妥。

我也有疑问为什么D不可以呢我想原文的意思应该是MG呼吁blacks回到非洲而不是A呼吁的内容是一些blacks回到非洲不知道这样理解对不对

D和E中的 black's 应该就是blacks吧 advocate doing也没有问题但是D which 中套that从句也很别扭矛盾中
