171. In 1527 King Henry VIII sought to have his marriage to Queen Catherine annulled so as to marry Anne Boleyn.

(A) so as to marry

(B) and so could be married to

(C) to be married to

(D) so that he could marry

（E）in order that he would marry

答案是D，A为什么不可以？so as to 的逻辑主语就是句子的主语，没有造成歧义啊。多谢各位大侠指点！

1、SO THAT 优于SO AS TO

2、这句句子LZ仔细看。。。如果说逻辑主语为King Henry VIII ，那么这是一种情况！他为了和。。。结婚

其次，如果是King Henry VIII 做的整件事，即把和。。。的结婚取消掉。为了和...结婚！这又是一种情况。。。

是不是有歧义呢？

Annul his marriage to Queen Catherine 动作的发出者不是King Henry （have sth. done）,所以so as to 逻辑主语不明确

LS的好像不对吧～

EG：

He ran quickly so as to catch the last bus. 
他跑得很快以便赶上那末班车。 
The two lovers dropped back so as to be alone. 
那对情人落在后面，为的是两人好单独在一起。 
I left a message so as to be sure of contacting her. 
我留下了张条子以便与她取得联系

我也觉得这句话不太对。是as much as 在否定时要变成so much as. 例如，She left not so much as a trace。

能造成歧义的第二种理解实在是好难看出来，但如果说so that优于so as to的话，就好记了。谢谢enrique1313!
