答案肯定是D了，没问题，但是语法笔记上说，b的错误有一个是　“and前后对象不平行,前者是句子,后者是名词结构”

我觉得有疑问，因为前面是一个句子，后面你看整个句子，其实也是一个句子，而不是名词结构啊？？？the degree to whichwere scattered by its force

"that the extent of the floods on the planet billions of years ago was overwhelming"是一个句子

"the degree to which were scattered by its force"是一个名词结构 "to which were scattered by its force"是修饰"the degree"的定语从句
