GWD5-Q1:

A. and her lobbying for wage and hour reform was persistent,

B. and lobbying for wage and hour reform was persistent, so that

C. her lobbying for wage and hour reform persistent, that

D. lobbying for wage and hour reform was so persistent,

E. so persistent her lobbying for wage and hour reform, that

我觉得这个题目没有正确答案，虽然很多版本都说E是对的

我觉得E不对

首先缺少and作为连词

其次就算补上and 前面So dogged were Frances Perkins’ investigations of the garment industry是一个完整的句子，后面so persistent her lobbying for wage and hour reform只是一个词组句子和短语不能并列啊~~

那到底应该是什么？？

我怎么觉得是A?

如果是A的话，会不会so that结构就被破坏了呢？

根据so...that...结构只能在C、E中选，C改变原意，故选E (Effectiveness)

有的时候，因为对仗太工整，读者会预料到后面的内容而省略谓语，不知道在这里是不是适用。曾经看到过一个这样的句子的，忘记了。
