我认为Mormons were 75% of the population的问题不是mormons were 75%.
你看,这句话翻译过来是:摩门教徒是人口的75%. 也就是说,摩门教徒的本质是人口,这才是这句话的逻辑错误.
more than 43% of Claifornians are hispanic, 翻译过来是: 加州人43%是西班牙裔的. 这就通了.
这两句话简化后分别是:
摩门教徒是人口;
加州人是西班牙裔的;
比较的东西本质上不相同.不能混为一谈.
