我认为C的语序不对,把than any yet discovered插在the close evolutionary relationship和between dinosaurs and birds中间会造成句子歧义.

这题两点重要
（1）evidence是一只持续有效的 一般用一般现在时
（2）个人意见是 出题方不喜欢名词和modify这个名词的后置定语部分用别的成分隔开
大家可以参见og12 120

那yet discovered应该怎么理解呢？

首先是把yet discovered 去掉了 改变了原意
其次 evidence应该用一般现在时

YET有”UP TO THE TIME“的意思（随便查个网络词典就可以了）
用最高级的优点是简洁。
但D为什么不对呢？难道是去掉”YET DISCOVERED(迄今为止发现的)“改变了句意？

觉得不是最高级和比较级的区别，因为A和C从句意上来说（不管语法错误的话）是一样的 但是A中的yet discovered of the close evolutionary relationship between dinosaurs and birds是用来修饰discoveries的，整句话的主干是fossils offer evidence，这样看的话，C的句意虽然勉强算是对了，可是between dinosaurs and birds 是relationship的修饰语，C的表述将两者隔得太远，而且than的前后也是不对称的 C的毛病很多

C，和B E一样，yet后面need an "other"才能保证逻辑上通顺。因为yet discovered已经包括了主语所指的这个evidence了。
D一个是时态最好不要改，二个是直接就把yet discovered 给删掉了，改变句意。

D错是因为语法上前后不一致。relationship （between dinosaurs and birds） thathave 。这里应该是HAS

同意D
完成时+最高级就很好地表达了“迄今为止最”(most dramatic evidence yet discovered)的意思，更简洁清晰
而且yet discovered应该是用完成时的明确暗示

1. 修饰语紧跟修饰词：

Some general statements. There are times in a sentence when you could choose to use either present or present perfect. goel is right that D indicates that the dinosaurs and birds are somehow being modified by the "that have yet been discovered," which does unacceptably muddle the meaning. Or, logitech, if you want to say that the "have yet been discovered" modifies relationship, that also is the wrong thing. So, either way, the words no longer indicate the right meaning: that we're talking about the most dramatic evidence that has been discovered.

yet在這裡指的是「迄今為止」，等同於until now/then以及so far，必須與最高級連用，「後位」修飾比較級。Longman字典是這樣解釋的：
the biggest/worst etc (something) yet
used to say that something is the biggest, worst etc of its kind that has existed up to now: This could turn out to be our biggest mistake yet.
Nordstrom’s latest novel looks like his best yet.
補充yet的另一個用法，當yet與比較級連用時，yet=even=still，「前位」修飾比較級表示「更為」、「還」
Longman字典是這樣解釋的：
yet more/bigger/higher etc
used to emphasize that something is even more than it was before or is in addition to what existed before SYN still:
He got a call from the factory, telling of yet more problems.
Inflation had risen to a yet higher level.
yet another reason to be cautious
The meeting has been cancelled yet again (=one more time after many others).
回到題目中，A選項的yet不是表示already，因此與現在完成式無關，BDE的時態改成現在完成實屬畫蛇添足，此句型沒有明顯的時間副詞提示要用現在完成。何況yet是與否定、疑問中才會表示already。

其实差别就在D上，此版本多了一个定语从句“that have yet been discovered ”
我觉得GMAT语法题里面一般不会有选项因为漏掉信息而错误的，所以我猜测可能TN上的版本里D可能漏掉了后面那部分，
而这个版本应该才是正确的版本，如果是这样的话，那D选项就没什么争议了，定语从句修饰对象错误...

A）有羽毛的恐龙化石出土提供了戏剧性的证据，然而仍未发现恐龙与鸟类相似的演化关系
C）有羽毛的恐龙化石出土提供了较多"相似演化关系的戏剧性证据"比任何未发现的"恐龙和鸟类"还多
除了可以用比较级的概念，另外一个我觉得是比要的东西不一样，C选项完全比错

我本来也选的D，可是现在觉得不对。yet discovered不能去掉。因为没有人知道目前发现的evidence是不是真正most dramatic，可能以后还会有更加dramatic的evidence这个谁都说不好，A选项能够表达这个意思，D选项没有这个意思，把在中国发现的这个fossil确认为最dramatic的evidence。所以，意思还是有差别的，不能说A意思重复
