我選得C.  但不知道為何不用單數動詞 shows？

the discovery of ....may not only broaden...(may)but also+原型V

因為共用助動詞may,所以要用原形動詞

E.showing that a number of formsof microscopic life can adapt to conditions that scientists have long thoughthostile to all bacteria but thehardiest 有无问题？


请教NN，B,E选项but后面部分是否有问题？？！！

我好像看到过说是书面语里尽量不用ones指代。。。求nn确认
