答案是B，

我选了D

B选项中的"a group"，指的是没有按时还钱的这样一群"borrowers"，a group是同位語结构，so far so good，但是后面，a group collectively known as the subprime lending market。borrowers=lending market,这个逻辑上行得通吗？

做题时因为觉得这个逻辑上有问题，所以我选了D, 把that看作是record的同位语，然后后面直接跟collectively known as ...，表示前面整句话known as a market

umm...a group應該是指borrowers.
我的理解是borrowers form the subprime lending market.
如果known as the subprime lending market是修前面整句, 那會是修it would soon lend money to borrowers with proven records of their not paying back their loans on time.
有soon就不太make sense.
如果說修lend還可以.
可是好像"[clause], [past participle phrase]"中的past participle phrase的都是修前面其中一個名詞而不是修整句/謂語.

borrowers=lending market,这个逻辑上行得通, market 就是一群人组成的;

D and E中开头的that, 这个that不是同位语, 而是records的定语从句了

答案B中的a group, 也许看成同位语有些牵强的话, 但看成absolute phrase 却是再合适不过了. 一个名词+修饰, 对前面整句话作总结和解释
