Dear guys,
I have received the notice on my R2 application from CEIBS that I am short-listed for further consideration in the 3rd round. That means that I should wait for final decision after the admission committee goes through R3 applications. Then my question is that my chance to get offer from CEIBS at the final stage is big or small. Thanks for your valuable information.
Sincerely,
Hello,buddy..
I am also in the short-list. I have the first round interview in Mar 5th and have the second round interview in Mar 15th. It is until the Apr 20th that I received the notice you mentioned above.
Glad to see you.
do you think that the possibility of receiving offer is high?
I think I should prepare for the worse case.

Well...I m a R2 applicant from HK. I was waitlisted, and just received an email notifying that I got admitted. I wanted to get in SO MUCH a month ago, but after talking to someone who completed his MBA from UST HK, who warned me of not going to any Asian b-school, I am a bit hesitant now
My background:
Canadian undergrad
GMAT high 600
2 years work experience in HK (which was challenged by the prof interviewer)

Asian schools are not as good as their rankings in terms of many aspects. It's definitely true.
However I think it's all about yourself and your future plan. Since you have enough oversea exposure already, I don't think going to HKUST or CEIBS is a bad idea if you wanna stay in Hong Kong or China for the future.
Don't think too much about others' complaint. You two might have different backgrounds and goals.
