标题: 关于代词指代的问题，they，them在句中的用法真的很困绕

something ingested, but in attributing criminal or delinquent behavior to some food allergy,

the perpetrators are in effect told that they are not responsible for their actions.

OG21 很明显，their 和they/their指代不一样，这样的情况我碰过几回，给我在解题中带来困绕，

究竟什么时候代词指代要一致？

什么时候又可以分别指代不同的对象？

不同forms (e.g. they vs. their vs. them)可以有不同的指代; 可是從effectiveness的角度看, 他們最好指代同一個對象...所以要比choices...不要看到指代不一致就cross...

同一個form的印象中好像都指代一致(形式主語it除外)
