答案选E，可是我想问，原文未画线的部分，明明是过去时和过去完成时呀，可E中出现的是现在完成时，也许我对这个时态有点搞不清楚，这样也行吗？C为是什么不行呢？

你要是不提时态的问题，我都没注意。E的现在完成时没有问题吧，后面的过去时（过去人的饮食，也没有问题），过去完成被动时（过去被猜测的）。只有E是平行结构、逻辑主语最完美的，所以，如果不是追求完美，这个答案是最好的吧。

C的they的指代還好, 問題在於when, 原句沒有這個意思...

我还是觉得，若按未画线的走，全文应该用过去时呀~~

时态的错误，应该比逻辑的意思更严重吧，而且C的逻辑也不是特别明显的有什么不对呀~~

AlienX 说的没错when是个很大的问题，强加了关系

另外，既然主句和分句的主语相同，完全可以用也应该用分词的形式表达，不然多罗嗦啊

最后determine和examine是并列更好一些

不同时态的动词是可以并列的就如同现在分词和过去分词也是可以并列的一样
