1) 分词词组在句首起形容词作用，逻辑主词等于句子主词

2) indicate that…and that构成平行的受词子句

3) 在正式书面语中，受词子句中的that通常不能省略

(A) young Athenian women作为Based on…的逻辑主词，不符合逻辑；
        未划线部分的and that从语法上跟that they used…平衡，共同修饰a new woolen robe，
        不符合逻辑。

(B) 逻辑主词错误；未划线部分的and that没有并行的对象；
关系代词which后应该接句子，

我的问题是，according to，需要怎样的逻辑主语对应呢？为什么C选项这么说呢？

AlienX 版主除了分词短语外其他短语在句首做状语不存在逻辑主语的问题因为没有动作联系

能不能大概说一下这样的理解是否正确？谢谢

3rd floor, 99%的句首participle phrase要求邏輯主語, 那1% 有According/assuming/barring/concerning/considering/given/judging/owing to/regarding/respecting/speaking/taking (into account)/etc.

非常谢谢版主，这里有个问题，刚刚碰到的，是不是in addition to 也在那个1%里面，置于句首，不需要主谓一致呢？

lsmm 逻辑主语和主谓一致是两个语法点吧我也在这道题上想了半天实际上这道题有两个版本

1 in addition to her work, ...contributions（主语）..

2 in addition to her work, Mary（主语）.. 都对，你是在问为什么主语是Mary也对吧？

我觉得这里应该不存在逻辑主语的问题，与according to 类似。

版主澄清一下吧

umm...回頭看5th floor, 我是說"99%的句首***participle phrase***要求邏輯主語" hehe
in addition to不是prepositional phrase =P (well, 有dictionary說according to是介詞...anyway).
in addition to something不用邏輯主語...有動作的東東才有可能有主語
