我记得不是有个 idiom not ...but rather.... 各位nn 这里是不是只能用 so啊？请讲一讲

not...but rather是not..but..的强调形式,无伤大雅.
但是要用so来指代动作，而不是用it。

我错了这题自己给自己解释一下...

GWD-12-Q41:

The first English settlers to establish a permanent colony in America did it not at Plymouth but along the shore of the James River west of Chesapeake Bay.

A. it not at Plymouth but 动作不能用it指代
B. so not at Plymouth but 正确
C. not at Plymouth but instead 改变原意变成建立的English settlers 人在P地原意为English settlers 不在P地建立殖民地而且语法错了
D. not at Plymouth but did so 同上
E. it not at Plymouth but rather 同A
