我觉得吧，removing only selected trees，这种V-ing的形式一般式表示伴随或者是结果，这个是表示结果；同理可退surface fires，可是为什么就是错的了呢？

啊，我想明白了~我来自问自答吧~~

因为“，v-ing”修饰的是前面整个句子，要修饰单个n不能加逗号。

做题做的傻掉了……

正确。而且，“，+doing ”位于句末要么做伴随状语，逻辑主语是前句主语；要么做结果状语，逻辑主语是前面句子。
