看过以前的帖子，说是less是adv，fewer是adj，所以要用adv来修饰动词amount...这种说法对吗？
请指教
less能做adj.,adv.,n.,pron.,determiner)，fewer则不能做adv.
用less可以从两个方面看出来，一个是你说的amount，另外后面one percent of the $541是一个number,说明应该视前面的costs为一个整体，所以应该用less.在此作名词.
