答案是B，OG里的解释说

Choices D and E produce faulty constructions with the phrase significant in compounding, which cannot grammatically modify the verb form is growing.

可是significantly前面不是有逗号吗？这样它还是修饰is growing的么？不是说逗号后面的成分应该就近修饰逗号前面的那个词语的吗?

句尾的", verb-ing..."可以修前面整句(一般都是修前面句子的一個動作)/緊貼的名詞(短語).
OG的意是說後半句應該要修is growing,可是A, C, D and E的都不成...

那么如果是逗号后面的词又可以修饰整个句子，又可以就近修饰，要怎么判断呢？根据A选项的意思吗？

看邏輯意思, 如果A邏輯不通, 那很可能要改"原意".
