标题: 选校：MSU，Purdue，rochester，rice

都是申的第三轮，刚刚收到Purdue的offer，没有面试。

之前拿到了MSU的AD，刚刚面试了rochester 和rice,还没消息。

背景：GMAT 710，国外master，工作国内5年+国外1年

读完想做operation management，IT consulting.

本来打算哪个有奖去哪个，但是如果都没有的情况下，目前MSU和Purdue应该怎么选择？

I visited Purdue in early Feb and talked with several students there, seems at that time the placement statistics was not as good as that of MSU. Not sure how things going now.

Purdue is close to Chicago. and the faculty are stronger than MSU.

If all of the 4 schools admit you, go to rice.

问下楼主，是普度发信给你说没奖呢？还是没收到Dean的有关奖学金的邮件？我们都在苦等Dean 的邮件，还没消息。

Purdue 邮件和信内容是一样的，没提有奖，准备发邮件确认一下，看看能不能争取一点。

楼主算是我知道的第一个收到普渡邮件的人了。恭喜恭喜！

我们都还在等待之中呢。今年普渡是不是不打算给奖学金了。郁闷。好像据我所知一个都没有呢。

收到奖学金的兄弟姐妹要发帖吼一下啊！！

发信过去问了，一个星期以后收到答复如下，

Thank you for your email. All applicants were considered for Krannert scholarships and graduate assistantships during the admission review process, therefore you did not need to apply for these awards. The Krannert Master’s Admissions Office will notify you if you are a candidate. Scholarships will be awarded to very few applicants, therefore we advise all students to plan ahead for alternate funding sources and arrive prepared to pursue your education through self-funding or other appropriate means.

看起来似乎没有收到他提到的通知的话，就是没有了。

rochester 15000/year，学费要40000多

MSU：non-resident tuition waiver，一年免了8000多

Purdue貌似没有奖

rice继续没信中

个人认为msu不是最佳选择

原则上更关注学校的就业情况，其次是排名。

考虑一下自己的专业和未来工作方向,然后看看学校有没有自己真正需要的东西,别忘了考虑专业的conbination，学校都可以学两个专业。

好学校也有找不到工作的，比如ross去年毕业至今还有没找的工作的；排名靠后的也有找到好工作的。我个人认为，能否找到工作，尤其是在经济不好的时候，取决于自己对自己对未来的规划和个人的一些性格特点，比如说，适应性和做事的节奏性。

rice和simon的学习方向很多，可选择性很多，msu好像只有一个supply chain比较好。个人意见。
