我在B和D中犹豫了很久，个人认为真正的GMAT考题不会在如此偏颇的地方考大家。对于选B还是选D有两种可能的解释

1, 原文中划线部分和B的用法是一样的，于是得出规律：在原文没有错的情况下不能将其改为一个等价的表述(如此题的D）

2,这里的but前后有平行, the spraying of pesticides can be carefully planned BUT.... weather condistions that cannot be foreseen

个人认为解释1更合理，不知大家看法如何？

同意。而且情态动词不能随意删减或添加。这里忠于原文can。B更优。

而且。动词（foreseen）优于形容词（foreseeable）。也可以作为一个辅助依据检验。

多谢指点，我也才在LZM公理里发现了“原文划线部分有情态动词的时候正确选项也必须有该情态动词”

小心XDF的公理, 很多巳經不能apply....
