这题根据平行能很快得到答案A

不过我想问题目中的its already-tattered image和ita ability中的its是指country吧？那划线句子中的country's不是不能作为回指对象吗？

it不能回指country没错，但是这里是its，正好匹配contry's

代词属格和原型的用法还是不一样的。
