问题一语法：GWD5-Q1:

这里的her是指Perkins

这题如大家看到的，是有争议的，我自己选的是C

很明显ABD可以排除，我就说说我排除E的原因吧，也是我没看懂解释的原因：解释说第二个were被省略了，是吧。但是，划线部分的核心词是lobbying, 是个动名词，所以谓语应该是was才对啊。如果是was，而不是were的话，根据白勇的省略原则是不可以去掉的。只有动词一样或者blahblahblah的情况才能省略第二个动词，或者是保留情态动词，助动词，etc.

所以我觉得E的解释不对

C的话我是做插入语理解的~~

我误选项是E，但是不知道为什么“findings indicative of 不合语法”。我查了下字典，indicative的用法是be indicative of,那说“不合语法”是不是因为这个句子里面没有be呢，而如果有be,在这个语境下又嫌wordy(同B).

不知道我的理解对不对，还请高人对E进一步解释下吧。谢谢啦

我误选的是D，答案是E。找不到相应的解释，所以请教在此请教高人啦~~~完全不知道E的选项怎么来的，ABC选项我能排除。就请解释下D和E吧

第二道题目，D强调的是整体，而E强调acquisition,thinking and emotional skills
