2个句子用and连接，现在分词作状语

C的结构是不是 SVO and SVO, doing.....啊？是这样理解吗？

还有AD项的错误是由于 the pollution of 的繁复吗？

还是逻辑表达的问题。

现有，起因（
leaking its cargo of 750,000 gallons into the ocean）；再有结果：causing the pollution

用while要么强调同时发生，要么强调对比（whereas)，这里做前者理解。那么，原因和结果，一同发生，肯定不合逻辑。

so A OUT

B的it 用的不好。因为把 with 结构去掉后（注意这里是”，.....," 插入结构，如果不是不能这样分析），it 指代了oil barge。。。。

是 750,000 gallons polluted the city而不是barge

个人思路，望指教

A）用causing和leaking平行，但是导致causing the pollution这个事实的是leaking its cargo of 750,000 gallons into ocean这个事件，所以逻辑上这两个成分并列讲不通。cause the pollution of不如直接用pollute这个动词结构简洁。
B）在GMAT的句子中，同一个句子的代词应该代指同一对象,its cargo和it polluted的it语法上都应该代an oil barge，而an oil barge polluted逻辑上讲不通。
C）正确，polluting这个分词短语表示结果。
D）大致上同B,it指代不对。
E）重复，啰嗦。而且they不对。
