不太明白选项B中than从句与主句是怎么平行的？好象两边结构很不一样，是有省略吗？那位高手能帮我把省略的部份补出来？

本句实际上是一个倒装的问题.

* 首先, rice是In addition to having more protein than wheat does的主语, 所以第二分句的开头肯定是rice.

* 其次是一个倒装的关系, 把句子顺过来读就是: Rice has protein of higher quality than that(protein) in wheat in addition to having more protein than wheat does.

* 最后, than的后面不一定都是跟从句的. 你如果一定要跟从句的话, 那么这句就应该这么说: Rice has...than wheat has.

按照og的解释，以上四个都正确罗。。。。1.3.是宾语protein比较，2.4.是主语比较

还有，主语比较是否一定要补出谓语动词？

nice to meet you again, 我理解是：看有没有歧义，比如：只有主谓就不用补，有宾语就要比（因为如不补可能歧义成宾语和宾语比了）

如：

You are beautiful than I (am). 可以不补，补的话可能会被ETS认为是不简洁。
