此题答案选的是D。答案中排除E的解释为“句子结构复杂;两个分句间无连词,缺乏逻辑关系.”，想请教大家为什么不可以将E项理解为“独立主格结构呢”？？？我认为这个解释不正确......

結構上, E的"Pine trees thriving in climates that are relatively wet ones"是可以看成獨立主格结构, 一般獨立主格结构都有它的功能.
可是不會是contrast的function...所以prep的unofficial explanation是缺乏逻辑关系
