标题: MIT Sloan Interview
I read interview preparation guide for MIT Sloan. "The MIT sloan MBA adcom conducts Behavioral Event-Based Interviews. The concept behind BEI is past behavior is a reliable indicator of future response in a similar situation. ..." Who experienced such BEI interview? Could anybody share any tips about BEI interview? Thanks beforehand.

I think they are looking for maturity, professionalism, IQ and EQ ... Blow please find two examples that might help. The 2nd one appears to be kind of a "BEI" question. I think you can always look up the internet for more perspectives. ffice

During a recent interview, the interviewer asked me: Hey, let's forget all the career, MBA, resume thing. Tell me, if you can meet anyone now, who will be this guy? why? what are you going to talk with him?

Another example is from one of my friends. He was asked to describe what he would do if he was late in attending a planned meeting. (Thanks dreambox)

In my opinion, the above 2 questions are typical non-BEBI questions. BEBI questions focused on your past behaviors--the real cases but not assumption, such as " Please tell me an example that .....", to answer BEBI questions, please use STAR strategy as Yale wrote: Situation, Tasks, Actions and Results.

sometimes they ask questions like "could you give me an example when you convinced other people?" or "could you give me an example when you solved conflicts?" All examples should be different from what you have used in your essays. So be prepared for more examples.
