我是用排除法选到了B，虽然B正确，但是不理解“the many winter greens ...” 的“” the many"连用可以吗？

A错，“the many winger greens” 和”“those of escarole" 不对等

C错”tough leaves“和”escarole“ 叶子不能和一种蔬菜比较

D错我认为原为require ,动词优先于抽性名词的形容词和名词形式，即require >requirement

E 错， “lengthy cooking time”和蔬菜“escarole”不能比较

the是定冠词，是用来限制修饰后面的名词的，特别是名词本身就带了修饰成分（定语从句）

这是一个典型的考察比较对象对等的题，只要分辨选项中比较对象逻辑意义的对等情况即可。

B. 正确。winter greens 和 escarole 都是植物，植物和植物比，叶子和叶子比。

C. 你说的很好。

D. 容易看成是tough leaves +the requirement 和叶子比，这个应该是大问题。

E. 你说的很好。
