那是不是B后的",its"是前面Europa的同位语呢?

Apparently, its represents Europa's. But in my opinion, its...botton is the appositive of Europa has long been considered far too cold to support life since its... botton explains why people consider that way.

A错在哪了。。。。
作者: lcy19812000 时间: 2009-3-4 22:06
The structure of A is: sth. has been done and with sth.
sth. has been done is an sentence.
with sth. is a prepostion phrase.
No parellel elements in front and behind and.

怎么那么绕啊?能用中文解释一遍吗?

对上面的"its 60 square miles of water thought to be frozen from top to bottom." 在整句话中的语法作用还是有疑问,到底这部分是什么语法机构?

獨立主格
作者: fangwenting 时间: 2009-5-4 18:19
请问是怎样的独立主格呢,没有each,也没有with引导,可以这样直接跟在后面吗
作者: AlienX 时间: 2009-5-5 09:24
LS mm, each/with開頭的只是其中兩種...;-)

看来还是逻辑重要哦~这题目后面的解释是跟前面的consideration是有一定关联的~
C直接并列确实不怎么妥当
作者: freelaneliu 时间: 2009-8-26 00:00
这是原因同位语从句,
独立主格中没有这样的句子结构
“独立主格结构”是由名词或代词作为逻辑主语,加上分词、形容词、副词、动词不定式或介词短语作为逻辑谓语构成。
如果表原因的话,应该是这样用
He wrapped her up with great care, the night being dark and frosty. 夜又黑又冷,所以他把她裹得严严实实的。
而不应该是句子

还是不理解A错在哪里。。![](/static/legacy-emoticon/Dvbbs/em06.gif)

另,consider可以加as,但是一般为consider sb./sth. as... 如:We consider his suggestion as having possibilities. 那么C错在哪里?“and has”??请大N指点!谢谢!

顶,不明白C错在哪里?
请指点!谢谢!
作者: ambrosia2010 时间: 2010-2-1 20:08
我做的时候选的也是C,后来看了答案,觉得C从语法上没有问题,而是逻辑结构的错误。我的理解是:
后半句(即补充句)“60 square miles of water thought to be frozen from top to bottom”不能和前半句(即主句)“Jupiter's moon Europa has long been considered far too cold to support life”并列。前半句是对Europa的总体概括描述“太冷了不能维持生命”,那么后半句就是对这一描述的具象说明“60平方公里水域从上到下全部冻结”,那么在地位上它应该是从属于前半句的,所以不能和前半句并列。
正确选项B把后半句话作为次一等的从句处理从逻辑上讲是说得通的,至于是不是独立主格结构,我暂时是这么理解的,待查。

与前面的WITH结构都是来说明TOO COLD TO SUPPORT LIFE的阿,,为什么这两个WITH不能并列呢?

独立主格部分解释 详见楼上版主链接
Another kind of absolute phrase is found after a modified noun; it adds a focusing detail or point of focus to the idea of the main clause. This kind of absolute phrase can take the form of a prepositional phrase, an adjective phrase, or a noun phrase.
* The old firefighter stood over the smoking ruins, his senses alert to any sign of another flare-up.
* His subordinates, their faces sweat-streaked and smudged with ash, leaned heavily against the firetruck.
* They knew all too well how all their hard work could be undone — in an instant.

同意这个看法,虽然c看上去是and平行,但是,其实并没有,我们不能把原因和结果平行啊!
而b的话,只能说较好吧,它的独立主观用得怪怪的
作者: babyciao 时间: 2011-11-29 14:44
我也这么觉得,跨过主谓结果,两端平行不可以么?
作者: ssyy23 时间: 2012-3-21 10:44
A 怎么错了
作者: ximenheng 时间: 2012-6-22 21:31
错了。。。
A选项简化一下:Europa has long been considered..., and with 60 square miles ...。
and with 完全没意义。
如果想正确,去掉and。 Europa has long been consider... with 60 square miles...。
所以A 不对。。。
作者: saki爱吃鱼 时间: 2013-5-19 20:40
顶上来。。。同问A选项啊~~
前后两个with 感觉很平行啊,逻辑上都是Europa被认为太冷的依据
调换一下顺序可以理解成这样吧,完全说得通啊
With surface temperatures estimated at minus 230 degrees Fahrenheit and with 60 square miles of water thought to be frozen from top to bottom, Jupiter's moon Europa has long been considered far too cold to support life.
